How it all Started

Hi there, I'm Lani! Founder of Lani's kitchen, mom of two busy kids, and wife of over 20 years.  With my son travelling extensively for baseball, my daughter in theatre, and both my husband and I working full time, I knew I needed to find a way to provide healthy, wholesome meals for my family that fit with our hectic schedules.  I also wanted to make sure we ate well while on the road and that meant lots of planning and prep work.  I quickly realized that this is a challenge many families and professionals have in our fast paced world.  With my 25 years of culinary experience, I knew I could come up with a solution by providing well rounded, fully prepared meals with locally sourced ingredients.  Not only does that mean supporting local farmers but also means more nutrient dense food on your plate. Lani's kitchen was born out of both necessity and my passion for feeding the world!
